PARKING ON LAMMAS ROAD AND CHURCH AVENUE
Until the Leisure Centre is completed and car parking becomes more readily available, we would request parent’s park carefully in the vicinity of the school. The contractors have been requested to leave space on Lammas Road and this appears to have been undertaken. The contractor has requested that parents park away from the entrances being prepared for asscess to the Leisure Centre.
Although outside of the school’s jurisdiction and control, I would now advise Parents to refrain from parking on the road adjacent to the houses on Church Avenue. This will allow entrances to the driveways of houses to be left clear to enable resident’s easy access when departing and arriving in their cars, and to allow teachers access to the school car park.
If St Mary’s Church/Magdalene Centre Car Park is not being used, parents can park for a short period to bring and collect pupils. Parents requiring disabled access should park in the area in front of the Magdalene Centre.
The proprietor of the Staff of Life Public House on Hack Lane will also allow parents to use their car park for short periods in the morning and at home time to allow parents to collect pupils from school.
