Trip to Wembley for FA Trophy Final 

On 7th of May, Lammas School students, family and friends headed off by coach to cheer Mansfield Town Football Club on at Wembley in the FA Trophy against Darlington. 

Before the game, they had the opportunity to see a bit of London, including a picnic at Regents Park. For many, it was their first time at the new Wembley Stadium and it was a terrific experience, despite the final outcome! 

At almost 120 minutes, with the game in overtime to determine the winner, Darlington won the FA Trophy as their substitute Chris Senior scored in the last minute to defeat Mansfield Town.   

It was a day to remember and the school was glad to have been there to support the team at Wembley.
